Scott Powell serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Alpha Medical Group. Prior to founding Alpha Medical Group in 2002, Scott was Executive Vice President of Weatherby Healthcare. His career in physician recruitment started in 1985 placing Emergency Physicians and moved into managing numerous departments of recruiters in a variety of specialties.

Scott earned a degree in Communication from the University of Connecticut in 1998.

Scott resides in Easton, Connecticut with Barbara, his wife of 20+ years, and their four children. He is an avid hockey fan and is involved heavily with several local not-for profits.

Tom Truitt serves as President and co-founder of Alpha Medical Group. He has recently created several new divisions, two of which are OB/GYN and Pediatrics. Prior to starting Alpha Medical Group, Tom owned and operated T Square Productions, a Public Relations service company. His team provided visual, graphic and writing support for Public Relation houses and corporations mostly in New York City and the surrounding area. Tom was responsible for the visual component, business development and building client relations. T Square was sold in 2005.

Tom lives in Westport Connecticut with his wife, Giancarla, a high school educator and their two children, Luca and Francesca. He is a competitive sailor and avid cyclist.

Robert Longmuir serves as Senior Vice President of the Surgery Division. His clients include several academic institutions as well as many of the nation’s largest private practices and medical centers. With over eleven years of healthcare recruitment experience, Robert has been instrumental in the development of the Surgery Department. He is responsible for new client development and placement retention.

Robert conducts seminars with local residency training programs for physicians entering the healthcare field and has spoken with national organizations on the current physician marketplace.

Bob resides in Fairfield, Connecticut with Jennifer, his wife of 15+ years, and their five children. He is actively involved in his community and volunteers with several local not-for profits.

Matthew Faber serves as Senior Vice President for the Emergency Medicine and Healthcare Executive Divisions. He has 20 years’ experience recruiting physicians, physician executives and senior executives for health systems, health plans, academic and community hospitals, behavioral and long-term care organizations, as well as physician practice management organizations. Matthew has also conducted searches in healthcare technology and revenue cycle management. Prior to joining Alpha Medical Group, Matthew was a Partner in the Global Life Sciences and Healthcare Services practices of two global executive search firms. In addition to the search industry, Matthew was Director of Sales & Marketing for a prominent physician practice management company.

Matthew was pre-med and holds a BS in Psychology and a BA in English from Fairfield University. His graduate work in Public Health with a concentration in Healthcare Policy and Administration was conducted at New York Medical College. Matthew is a Board Member for Hispanos-Unidos, a not-for-profit community organization serving the HIV/AIDS Latino communities of New Haven and Meriden. He is an active volunteer and frequent alumni panelist for the Fairfield University Alumni Relations community.

Angela Albright serves as Senior Vice President of Alpha Medical Group and manages its Primary Care Division. Angela has been with Alpha Medical Group since 2002 when the company was founded. Prior to joining Alpha Medical Group, she was the Manager of the Pediatric Division at Weatherby Healthcare. Angela has over 15 years of experience recruiting physicians for private practices, healthcare systems and both community and academic hospitals.

Angela currently resides in Seymour, Connecticut with David, her husband, and their son Michael. She is very involved in volunteering at her son's school.
